choral conductors feel they aren’t getting the best out of their
singers and need a bit of help in instilling a better understanding of
breathing or singing techniques.
particular problems can be highlighted by certain repertoire, maybe
inaccurate pitching or poor blending.
a choir just needs a general refresh to remind them what they may
already know but in the tight rehearsal schedules have forgotten!
Joyce has worked with many choirs providing full or half-day courses, or joining them at rehearsal. These include the Chapter House Choir of York Minster, More than Melody Ladies' Choir, Rochdale, and LGN Community Choir, St. Helens. She has also been the vocal tutor on courses for the Association of British Choral Directors.
